Dr. Antonio Llombart Cussac

Born in Valencia (1964) he is currently Head of the Medical Oncology Service at the Arnau de Vilanova Hospital in Valencia, coordinator of the Breast Cancer research group at IRB-Lleida, Associate Professor at the University of Lleida (UDL), and scientific coordinator of the SOLTI Research Group in breast cancer. He is also a member of the main European and American oncological scientific societies.

Trained at the universities of Valencia and Navarra, he completed his MIR training at the Hospital Clínico de Valencia. Subsequent stays at the Institut Gustave Roussy (1994 - 1997) and at the MSKCC in New York (2001). He carried out assistance activities at the Valencian Institute of Oncology Foundation (1998-2005) and as head of the Medical Oncology service at the Arnau de Vilanova Hospital in Lleida (2005-2011).

Recognized international expert in Breast Cancer, he has published more than 150 articles in international journals, also carries out research projects with both local-national and international competitive scholarships.
