The Medical Oncology Service at Olympia Centro Médico Pozuelo, led by Dra. Lucía González Cortijo, provides a comprehensive, personalised approach to cancer patients.

This is the cornerstone of our work, thanks to our outstanding clinical training and professional experience. We offer oncology consultations with oncologists who specialise in specific pathologies and hospital care managed by internists who specialise in cancer patients.
Research Unit at Hospital Universitario Quirónsalud Madrid
The Medical Oncology Service at Olympia Centro Médico Pozuelo is supported by the Research Unit at Hospital Universitario Quirónsalud Madrid, which has grown significantly since its inauguration in 2010. We have rapidly and progressively increased our participation in phase II and III clinical trials, as well as the number of publications, actively contributing to advances in the field of research and offering our patients access to new treatment alternatives. In addition, the Phase I Trial Unit (NEXT) completes the services offered to our patients, whom we can currently treat with any type of cancer therapy, including and CarT-celland First in Human trials.
Second opinions
We assess complex cases with the help of specialised oncologists of renowned prestige. We make a thorough assessment of previous studies, conduct a comprehensive analysis of each case, and offer recommendations based on the latest evidence. This consultation provides greater clarity, peace of mind, and support for making informed decisions about cancer management.
Breast cancer unit
We have a multidisciplinary team (Radiology, Gynaecology, Medical Oncology, Pathological Anatomy) for the early diagnosis of breast cancer, which requires professional, interdisciplinary management for correct decision-making and the right therapeutic approach. Our goal is to provide specialised, rapid and coordinated care, ensuring accurate diagnosis and the best therapeutic options for each patient.
Integrative Oncology Unit
In addition to conventional and protocolised treatments, modern oncology requires a series of complementary elements that help cancer patients to better tolerate treatments and improve their wellbeing and quality of life once these have been completed. To this end, we have experts specialising in different areas: psychology, physical exercise, nutrition, oncological aesthetics and supportive therapies. We use a comprehensive approach, focused on improving the patient’s quality of life, reducing side effects, and strengthening physical and emotional wellbeing throughout the entire cancer process. Each plan is personalised and coordinated by a multidisciplinary team specialising in holistic oncology care.
