Antitumor immunotherapy consists in the treatment of tumors by stimulating the patient's own immune system. The mentioned stimulation can be specific (a specific tumor) or non-specific (general stimulation of the immune system). In order to obtain mechanisms are used that involve all elements of the immune response (cells, antibodies, receptors and others).

The laboratory of Immunology of the Hospital Quirónsalud Torrevieja is focused both on the diagnosis of different types of pathologies and on the treatment of cancer patients.

Our clinical activity includes the diagnosis and follow-up of hematological neoplasms by means of cytometric analysis, the treatment of oncological patients by adoptive immunotherapy and the assessment of the immune functional response. We also have special programs for the treatment of cancer patients.
