Hospitalization

It is essential for the proper cure of children the maintenance of family structure in circumstances such as hospital admission. For this reason, in our center the child remains at all times with his relatives (hospital with 'open doors').
For greater efficiency, the pediatric hospitalization rooms are close to the neonatology unit, constituting a maternal and child area, in turn close to emergencies. The medical staff dedicated to the care of its children in the hospital ward is the same as the one which performs the emergency assistance and, in most cases, the assistance in outpatient consultations both in general pediatrics and in the different pediatric specialties.
In those cases in which the surveillance requirements are maximum, admission is made in a module/observation room, located next to the Neonatology area, sufficiently equipped and with its own nursing staff, suitable for both children of school-preschool age and for infants.
