Quirónsalud Marbella Hospital, amongst the most reputed hospitals of Spain
Quironsalud Marbella is the only private hospital in the city and its district to be on this ranking that is so prominent amongst health professionals.

One more time, Quirónsalud Marbella Hospital has obtained a position in the ranking of the 100 most reputed hospitals of Spain, according to the Corporate Reputation Business Monitor (Merco). Our hospital is the only private hospital in Marbella and its district to be on this ranking that is so prominent amongst health professionals.
The tenth edition of the Merco ranking confirms Quirónsalud’s leadership in the Spanish health scenario, where once again it occupies several positions with 33 of its hospitals being amongst the public and private most reputed hospitals in the country, nine more than in the previous edition.
This report assesses the various public and private medical centres in our country by conducting nearly 9,000 surveys with doctors, nurses, patient associations, health journalists, hospital managers, nursing managers, members of the Public Health Administration, individuals responsible for hospital pharmacy departments and company directors. Besides, over 4,700 medical units have been evaluated and analysed against quality objectives and clinical management indicators.
Thus, a total of 30 Quirónsalud medical centres are positioned in the ranking of private hospitals with ten of them being amongst the best reputed twenty in the following order: Hospital Universitario Quirónsalud Madrid (2nd), Centro Médico Teknon (7th), Hospital Universitario La Luz (8th), Hospital Universitari Sagrat Cor (9th), Hospital Universitari Dexeus (10th), Hospital Quirónsalud Valencia (11th), Hospital Quirónsalud Barcelona (16th), Hospital Ruber Internacional (17th), Hospital Universitario Ruber Juan Bravo (19th) and Hospital Quirónsalud Sagrado Corazón (20th).
In a prominent position of the ranking are also Hospital Universitari General de Catalunya (22nd), Hospital Quirónsalud Infanta Luisa (23rd), Hospital Quirónsalud San José (35th), Clínica Rotger (39th), Hospital Quirónsalud Toledo (41th), Hospital Quirónsalud Sur (44th), Hospital Quirónsalud Vallés (45th), Hospital Quirónsalud Málaga (47th), Hospital Quirónsalud Ciudad Real (49th), Hospital Quirónsalud Marbella (62nd), Hospital Quirónsalud Palmaplanas (64th), Hospital Quirónsalud A Coruña (65th), Hospital Quirónsalud Lugo (67th), Hospital Quirónsalud Bizkaia (75th), Hospital Quirónsalud Córdoba (77th), Hospital Quirónsalud Albacete (78th), Policlínica Gipuzkoa (81th), Hospital El Pilar (86th), Hospital Quirónsalud Tenerife (93rd) and Hospital Quirónsalud Huelva (95th).
Besides, in terms of the ranking for the best reputed public hospitals of Spain in 2024, Hospital Universitario Fundación Jiménez Díaz has a place in the ‘top 10’ for one more year, ranking number nine, whereas two of the three Quirónsalud hospitals integrated in the public Madrid health network also have a place in the top ten. These are Hospital Universitario Rey Juan Carlos (27th) and Hospital Universitario General de Villalba (40th).
Best hospitals by speciality unit
As in previous editions, Merco highlighted the Clinical Units with the best reputation for a total of 34 medical specialities, including the public and private health systems. And for another year yet, Hospital Universitario Fundación Jiménez Díaz occupies a position within the ‘top 15’ for 25 specialities, i.e., Allergology (5th), Clinical Analysis (11th), Anatomic Pathology (7th), Digestive Tract (15th), General and Digestive Tract Surgery (10th), Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (8th), Medico-Surgical Dermatology and Venereology (10th), Endocrinology and Nutrition (12th), Haematology (10th), Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (12th), Intensive Medicine (11th), Internal Medicine (8th), Nephrology (6th), Pulmonology (5th), Neurology (11th), Obstetrics and Gynaecology (9th), Ophthalmology (11th), Medical Oncology (9th), Otorhinolaryngology (11th), Paediatrics (13th), Psychiatry (8th), Diagnostic Imaging (13th), Rheumatology (11th), Traumatology and Orthopaedics (8th) and Urology (8th).
Centro Médico Teknon is also present in the ‘top 15’ for three specialities, i.e., Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (14th), Medico-Surgical Dermatology and Venereology (15th) and Traumatology and Orthopaedic Surgery (13th).
Best hospitals by speciality and autonomous region
Additionally, several hospitals of the group are in the leading positions of the specific ranking for each autonomous region, which mentions the leading hospitals of the various territories for each of the clinical units. In this case, Hospital Quirónsalud A Coruña stands out in Galicia for ten medical specialities, namely, Allergology, Anaesthesiology and Recovery, Cardiology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Pharmacy, Intensive Care Medicine, Internal Medicine, Nephrology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Otorhinolaryngology.
In Catalonia, Hospital Universitari Dexeus is leader in Allergology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Traumatology and Orthopaedic Surgery; whereas Hospital Universitari Sagrat Cor stands out for Anaesthesiology and Recovery and Centro Médico Teknon is at the head of the best hospitals in the autonomous region for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Hospital Universitario Fundación Jiménez Díaz is leader in Madrid for its Allergology and Pulmonology Units; Hospital Quirónsalud Zaragoza is leader in Aragon for the Haematology Unit; and in the Extremadura region, Hospital Quirónsalud Cáceres stands out as one of the best hospitals for Neurology.
In the Valencia region, Hospital Quirónsalud Valencia is leader in Anaesthesiology and Recovery, Digestive Tract, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Intensive Care Medicine, Internal Medicine and Otorhinolaryngology.
Also Hospital Quirónsalud Toledo is leader in Castilla-La Mancha for 8 specialities, namely, Anaesthesiology and Recovery, Cardiology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Pharmacy, Haematology, Intensive Care Medicine, Paediatrics and Rheumatology. And Hospital Quirónsalud Tenerife is at the head of the best hospitals in the Canary Islands for Cardiology, General and Digestive Tract Surgery, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Pharmacy, Internal Medicine, while Clínica Rotger stands out for Diagnostic Imaging amongst the hospitals in the Balearic Islands.
