Diagnostic techniques and treatment

Joint regeneration unit

  • Corticosteroid joint and periarticular injections: injection of substances directly into a joint to reduce pain and inflammation, as well as improving joint function.
  • Hyaluronic acid injections: intra-articular injection used to treat joint problems, such as osteoarthritis or cartilage wear.
  • Monocyte therapy: Monocytes is a system developed using cutting-edge technology that allows minimally manipulated autologous monocytes to be obtained in a single step, separating them from the rest of the blood components. This procedure does not involve any traumatic mechanical action (centrifugation) or enzymatic treatments.

Arthrocentesis

Medical procedure that involves puncturing a joint to extract synovial fluid for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes.

Capillaroscopies

Non-invasive medical technique that allows the microcirculation of the capillaries in the nail bed to be examined in order to detect rheumatological pathologies.

Biological treatments

Embrel, Infliximab or Mabthera, for rheumatoid arthritis, spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, etc.

Yttrium radiosynovectomy

In close collaboration with the Nuclear Medicine Service at Hospital Universitario Quirónsalud Madrid.

Musculoskeletal ultrasound

Non-invasive, safe, real-time imaging technique that allows for highly accurate visualisation of the structures of the musculoskeletal system: muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, and peripheral nerves.
