Childbirth Preparation Unit

Personalized, Specialized, and Integrated Care Within the Hospital

Maternal Education Program at Ruber International Hospital

Pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period represent one of the most transformative stages in a woman’s life and that of her family. At the Childbirth Preparation Unit of Ruber International Hospital, we support this journey by providing knowledge, practical tools, and the guidance needed to experience it in an informed, safe, and mindful way.

Our Maternal Education Program is designed to provide confidence and peace of mind from the early stages of pregnancy through birth and the first stages of newborn care, promoting a positive experience and better physical and emotional adjustment.

Adequate preparation helps women understand the changes their bodies undergo, reduce uncertainty, and face each stage with greater confidence. It also contributes to a more satisfying birth experience, improved breastfeeding outcomes, and a more favorable postpartum recovery.

We always work in accordance with the latest scientific evidence and follow leading international recommendations, including the guidelines of the WHO (World Health Organization), SEGO (Spanish Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics), and NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence).

Personalized, Specialized, and Integrated Care Within the Hospital

At the Childbirth Preparation Unit of Ruber International Hospital, we believe in a model of maternity care based on respect, information, and confidence.

Our goal is for every woman to feel empowered and at the center of her own experience, receiving close support through all the emotions that are part of this journey: excitement, doubts, changes, and fears.

The unit is fully integrated into the hospital environment and its clinical care protocols, providing greater reassurance, consistency, and continuity of care.

In addition, our direct coordination with the multidisciplinary team at Ruber International Hospital enables us to offer highly personalized care and, when necessary, facilitate prompt referrals to specialists in gynecology, physiotherapy, psychology, nutrition, and other areas related to maternal and child health.

We provide close and continuous support, with flexible care and meaningful assistance throughout the postpartum period as well, because welcoming a baby brings profound changes, and having a compassionate and specialized team can make a significant difference.
