Rheumatology is dedicated to a wide range of diseases, most of unknown etiology and physiopathological mechanisms not very well defined. It is a medical specialty dedicated to clinical (not surgical) disorders of the locomotor system and connective tissue, which covers a large number of clinical entities known together as rheumatic diseases, which are added to a large group of diseases of systemic involvement : the connectivopathies.
