More than 4,000 professionals have participated over the past year in programmes organised by Campus Quirónsalud, the Group's training platform, which promotes continuous learning, Quirónsalud's corporate culture and the transformation of its healthcare model in a constantly evolving healthcare environment. Specifically, more than 1,500 healthcare professionals, 250 medical specialists and thousands of nursing professionals have received training in a wide range of areas, including patient care, patient experience, clinical specialisation and management.

Created to promote Quirónsalud's corporate culture, share knowledge and accelerate the company's healthcare transformation, Campus Quirónsalud reflects the Group's broader commitment to education and professional development. This commitment supports healthcare professionals at every stage of their careers, from university and specialist training — through its fourteen university hospitals — to continuous professional development.

Campus Quirónsalud has thus become a comprehensive learning ecosystem that brings together in-house programmes, university partnerships, scientific meetings and training facilities, attracting thousands of participants every year.

As its director, Adolfo Fernández-Valmayor, explains: "Campus Quirónsalud was created with the ambition of supporting the Group's professionals through the transformation currently taking place in healthcare. We are convinced that medicine will change more over the next ten years than it has in recent decades, and we want to help redesign the medicine of the future, enabling our professionals to lead that change: towards healthcare that is more focused on health, more proactive, personalised and human-centred, and capable of harnessing the full potential of technology while always keeping patients at the centre."

Campus Quirónsalud's activities are supported by immersive, in-person and residential learning facilities located in Collado Villalba (Madrid) and Córdoba, a scalable online platform, a teaching faculty made up of professionals from the Group's healthcare network and external experts, and partnerships with universities to accredit and promote the knowledge generated within the organisation.

Among its flagship initiatives is MED 360, a programme delivered in collaboration with Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, which prepares the doctors of the future in areas such as artificial intelligence applied to clinical practice, patient experience, hospital management, sustainability and value-based healthcare.

The Cuidar Cuidando programme, focused on a culture of care, communication and teamwork, has already trained more than 1,500 nursing professionals, technicians, healthcare assistants and hospital porters, achieving an average satisfaction rating of 4.9 out of 5.

Meanwhile, Conectamos, designed for professionals working in Admissions, Patient Services and Patient Operations Centres, has attracted 240 participants in 2026, also achieving a satisfaction rating of 4.9 out of 5.

The Healthcare Management Executive Programme, developed in partnership with Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio, has trained nearly 2,000 executives and departmental managers between 2025 and 2026, achieving an average rating of 4.8 out of 5.

"Our goal is not simply to update knowledge. We want to help build and promote a shared understanding of healthcare, based on our culture of 'Trato y Tratamiento' (Care and Treatment), bringing together technology, scientific evidence and humanisation to deliver a better patient experience and improved health outcomes," says Adolfo Fernández-Valmayor.

Academic Collaboration

Campus Quirónsalud's activities are complemented by an extensive range of programmes developed in partnership with academic institutions. Among them is the Master's Degree in Emergency and Urgent Care Medicine for Physicians, delivered in collaboration with Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio. Now in its fifth edition, the programme has trained more than 250 doctors in this specialty since its launch.

In nursing, postgraduate programmes developed in collaboration with Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Universidad Francisco de Vitoria and Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio attract approximately 240 professionals each year. Meanwhile, clinical specialisation pathways offer more than 30 courses and have received nearly 2,000 applications.

Campus Quirónsalud also promotes other initiatives, including the Quirónsalud–URJC Chair in Robotic Surgery, established in partnership with Universidad Rey Juan Carlos to advance education, research and knowledge transfer in this field, in which the Group has made a significant commitment to leadership and innovation.

Beyond its training programmes, Campus Quirónsalud organises scientific meetings and professional conferences aimed at different healthcare groups, encouraging the exchange of experiences and best practices across hospitals and regions.

"The best way to prepare for the medicine of the future is to create learning environments where professionals can share knowledge, connect with one another and design new ways of working. Campus Quirónsalud is precisely that space for collaboration, reflection and transformation, from which we can help shape the healthcare we want to offer our patients," concludes Adolfo Fernández-Valmayor.
