The Home Care Unit at Hospital Quirónsalud Marbella provides patients with a team of doctors, nurses and specialists who travel to the patient’s home to deliver safe, personalised care, fully coordinated with the hospital.

The service is available between Estepona and Fuengirola, offering access to medical and nursing care with the same standards of quality, safety and continuity of care that define Hospital Quirónsalud Marbella.

What services do we offer?

Home medical care

This service includes in-person medical attention at the patient’s home, available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

When required, care is coordinated with specialists at Hospital Quirónsalud Marbella, ensuring continuity of care and access to any necessary hospital resources.

Home nursing care

The nursing team carries out a range of clinical procedures and follow-up care at the patient’s home, tailored to each individual situation.

This care helps avoid hospital visits while ensuring comfortable, safe and continuous care at home.

Pre-operative care at home

We facilitate the preoperative process at the patient’s home, in coordination with the Anaesthesiology Department.

This includes:

• Blood tests
• Electrocardiogram (ECG)
• Coordinated preoperative assessment

The aim is to streamline the surgical pathway and reduce unnecessary travel, ensuring proper preparation before the procedure.

Post-surgical follow-up

After hospital discharge, the healthcare team continues monitoring the patient at home to support a safe recovery.

This service includes:

• Wound care and monitoring of surgical sites
• Removal of stitches or staples as medically indicated
• Clinical follow-up of recovery progress
• Coordination with hospital specialists when required
