Dr. Juan Pablo Burgués Gasión is a leading urologist with years of experience, particularly in the fields of andrology and urologic oncology (prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular cancer). He currently practices at Palmaplanas Hospital and Clínica Rotger and is an Associate Professor at the Facultad de Medicina de la Univeridad de las Islas Baleares (UIB). He holds a PhD from the Universidad de Valencia (2005) and has numerous scientific publications. He is co-editor of "Practical Urology, 5th Edition (Elsevier, 2020)" and "Surgical Atlas of Practical Urology, 2nd Edition (Elsevier, 2025)," the most popular reference manuals on urologic pathology and surgical techniques among Spanish urologists. He has been a pioneer in the Balearic Islands in techniques such as micro TESE (sperm retrieval in azoospermia), robotic surgery, and elastic fusion prostate biopsy.
