The International Dermatology Clinic at Ruber International Hospital, the first private clinic accredited to train MIRs in Medical-Surgical Dermatology and Venereology

The Ministry of Health has accredited the International Dermatology Clinic (CDI) at Ruber Internacional Hospital to train resident doctors (MIR) in the specialty of Medical-Surgical Dermatology and Venereology, as published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) on 21 August.
This accreditation makes CDI the first private dermatology clinic in Spain to obtain official authorisation to train specialists in this discipline, marking a milestone in the field of private medical education in our country.
With this recognition, the centre reinforces its role as a benchmark in innovation, clinical excellence and research, as well as consolidating its commitment to passing on knowledge to new generations of dermatologists.
‘Achieving this accreditation is recognition of the quality of care and academic excellence of our team of dermatologists. It is also a unique opportunity to train generations of specialists who can compete at the highest scientific, ethical and human levels in the dermatology of the future,’ said Dr Ricardo Ruiz Rodríguez, head of the Dermatology Department at Ruber Internacional Hospital and medical director and founder of Clínica Dermatológica Internacional.
Ruber Internacional Hospital/CDI thus joins the network of Madrid hospitals accredited for MIR teaching, contributing the experience of a team of nationally and internationally renowned specialists and a clinical environment that integrates the latest technologies in dermatological diagnosis and treatment.
With this initiative, Clínica Dermatológica Internacional and Hospital Ruber Internacional are positioning themselves as leaders, not only in patient care, but also in excellence in training in medical-surgical dermatology and venereology, a key area in the medicine of the future.
