Quirónsalud has its origins in idcsalud and Grupo Hospitalario Quirón, two health-care groups that have always focused their efforts and resources on the same objective: offering health care defined by excellence and quality. This vision enabled the two groups to become the top private health-care providers in their respective regions of origin (Castile–La Mancha and Aragon). Both companies later expanded throughout Spain before merging to become the country’s leading health-care group.

The new brand—quirónsalud—symbolizes the integration of the two companies’ history, progress, and shared commitment to caring for patients as people.
