Quirónsalud’s human rights commitment includes working continuously to save lives, promote health and improve the quality of life of our patients. As a healthcare company, we consider human rights to be part of our corporate responsibility. We respect and support human rights as defined in international standards, such as the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the fundamental principles published by the International Labour Organization.
We are committed to meeting all regulatory requirements and social expectations of due diligence for respect for human rights.
At Quirónsalud, we follow the guidelines set by our parent company, Fresenius, with regards to our commitment to human rights, which applies to all the Group’s activities and businesses. BAFA Report
All companies that fall under the scope of the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (SCDDA = Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz (LkSG)) are obliged to regularly publish a report on the fulfillment of the due diligence obligations enshrined in the law.
The report on the fulfillment of the human rights and environmental due diligence obligations of Helios Health GmbH in accordance with the LkSG can be found below. This report includes information on the Quirónsalud Group in Spain and Latin America and the Helios Group in Germany.
The report contains information shared with the German Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA). Questions and answers are taken from the BAFA online portal.
