Carlos Valdivia Krag

Dr. Carlos Valdivia Krag is a gastroenterologist , trained at the Universidad de Navarra, where he earned his medical degree in 2019. He currently practices gastroenterology at the Hospital Quirón Salud Marbella, under the company Endoscopias Costa del Sol, SLP. His prior experience includes completing his residency in gastroenterology at the Hospital Universitario Reina Sofía. Among his scientific contributions, his article "Predictive factors for decompensating events in patients with cirrhosis with primary biliary cholangitis under different lines of therapy," published in the journal *Hepatology* in March 2024, stands out. He has also been recognized for his volunteer work at the Clínica Santa Teresa in Peru, in international healthcare cooperation, by the NGO Tantaka. He is an active member of the Sociedad Española de Patología Digestiva (SEPD), where he also participates in educational programs in gastroenterology and hepatology.
