Dr. César García Madrid is a specialist in Angiology and Vascular Surgery , having earned his degree in Angiology and Vascular Surgery from the Universidad de Barcelona (1993) after graduating in Medicine and Surgery. He currently serves as Director of Vascular Surgery at the Centro Médico Teknon in Barcelona and as a Consultant at the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona. He has combined clinical practice with teaching at the Universidad de Barcelona and a research career as principal investigator in numerous clinical trials and projects on atherosclerosis, peripheral vascular disease, and aortic aneurysms. He is a pioneer in Spain of minimally invasive techniques for varicose veins. Among his scientific contributions, the publication "EUROSTAR collaborators. Risk-adjusted outcome analysis of endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm repair in long-term follow-up" in the Journal of Endovascular Therapy (2005) stands out. He has received several awards in Vascular Surgery and is a member of national and international scientific societies.
