Dr. Carlos Herrero Hernando is a distinguished pediatrician, specializing in specific areas, with a strong academic background. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine degree from the Universitat de Barcelona in 2004 and completed his residency in Pediatrics at the Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol, Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) in 2009. He currently serves as Head of the Department of Pediatrics and its subspecialties at H.QS. BARCELONA , where he leads the pediatric emergency team. His most relevant publication, "Multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children and SARS-CoV-2 variants: a two-year ambispective multicentric cohort study in Catalonia, Spain," was published in the European Journal of Pediatrics in February 2023. Furthermore, Dr. Herrero has been recognized with the "4th Best Oral Presentation Award" by the Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol. He is an active member of the Catalan Society of Digital Health, contributing to the advancement of digital health in the region.
