Hugo José González Valdivia

Ophthalmologist specializing in Oculoplastic and Orbital Surgery. Member of the Oculoplastic and Orbital Surgery team at Hospital Sant Joan de Déu (HSJD) in Barcelona, ​​a National Reference Center for Pediatric Orbital Tumors and Congenital Periocular Malformations. He maintains a private practice at Centro Médico Teknon and Quirónsalud Hospital (Facial Paralysis Unit). He has completed numerous national and international training residencies with leading experts in Oculoplastic Surgery in Dublin, Paris, Bilbao, and Barcelona, ​​and holds the title of Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology (FEBO). Throughout his career, he has combined clinical practice with teaching, collaborating on three Master's programs (University of Barcelona, ​​International University of Catalonia, and TECH). He also maintains a significant research and outreach activity, with 19 publications in international scientific journals and over 50 presentations at national and international conferences.
