José Antonio de la Chica Sánchez

Dr. José Antonio de la Chica Sánchez is a clinical cardiologist with a doctorate in Medicine and Surgery from the Universidad de Malaga (MD, PhD). He currently practices as a specialist cardiologist and head of the Advanced Cardiac Imaging department at Quirónsalud hospitals in Malaga, Marbella, and Campo de Gibraltar, collaborating with St. Bernard's Hospital in Gibraltar on cardiac imaging, MRI, and CT scans. Since 2012, he has also worked as a Visiting External Scientist at the Spanish National Cardiovascular Research Center (CNIC) in the Human Imaging Laboratory, which has allowed him to develop a research career and publish in high-impact cardiology journals in the United States. He furthered his education with a Master's degree in Healthcare Management.
