Dr. José Ignacio Saez de Ibarra Sánchez is a leading European expert in cardiovascular surgery . Trained in France and Canada, he has been Head of Department at the Clínica Rotger in Palma since September 2016. He is also an Associate Professor at the Universidad de las Islas Baleares and has over 120 publications. He specializes in valvular repair and aortic root-conserving surgery. He is the National Coordinator of the SECCE Valvular Repair Group and the CSUR in Mallorca. He is a member of the European Society of Cardiovascular Surgery (EACTS) and the Spanish Society of Cardiovascular Surgery (SECCE).
