María Eugenia Fuentes Cañamero

Dr. María Eugenia Fuentes Cañamero is a leading cardiologist , having graduated from the Ministerio de Educación and Culture in 1998. She currently practices cardiology at the Hospital Quirónsalud Clideba in Badajoz. Among her most significant scientific contributions is the article "Impact of COVID-19 on Cardiovascular Testing in the United States Versus the Rest of the World," published in the journal JACC: Cardiovascular Imaging in September 2021. Her career was recognized with the "Professional Career at the Reference Level" award granted by the Regional Government of Extremadura in 2018.
