Longevity Unit, Quirónsalud Mercado de Colón (Valencia) Dr. María Soledad Andrés Gómez is a specialist in Longevity Medicine and director of the Longevity Unit at Quirónsalud Mercado de Colón in Valencia, where she has developed a model of preventive, personalized, and precision medicine focused on understanding how each person ages, anticipating potential health risks, and addressing modifiable factors to promote a longer and healthier life. With over twenty years of clinical experience and a solid background in Internal Medicine, her practice is based on a fundamental concept: longevity can be measured and addressed on an individual basis. To this end, she integrates the study of biomarkers of chronic inflammation, metabolic health, and biological aging, along with other clinical and molecular parameters, with the aim of designing personalized strategies based on objective data and scientific evidence. Her approach to Longevity Medicine combines her expertise in Internal Medicine with knowledge of genomic medicine, functional medicine, biological medicine, and aesthetic and regenerative medicine, offering a comprehensive view of aging that focuses not only on living longer, but on doing so with the best possible health and quality of life. She holds a Master's degree in Anti-Aging and Longevity Medicine from the Universidad de Barcelona and a Master's degree in Genomic Medicine from the Universidad Católica San Antonio of Murcia (UCAM), in addition to specific training in biological medicine, functional medicine, and aesthetic and regenerative medicine. A physician since 2003, she completed her residency in Internal Medicine in Argentina in 2007. For 16 years, she developed her professional career in Patagonia, in the provinces of Neuquén and Tierra del Fuego, where she held positions such as Head of the Internal Medicine Department in various hospitals and, later, Medical Director—extensive clinical and management experience that now complements her specialization in Longevity Medicine. She is the lead author of the pilot study on the modulation of suPAR, a biomarker of chronic low-grade inflammation, by supplementation with a glutathione precursor, published in the Journal of Clinical Medical Research (2026;7(1):1-5).
