Ricardo Diez García

Dr. Ricardo Diez García is an eminent pediatric surgeon with a solid academic background, including a Doctorate in Medicine and Surgery from the Universidad de Navarra, obtained in 1993. He currently leads the pediatric surgery department at the Hospital Universitario Fundación Jiménez Díaz, where he has served as head of department since October 2019. Throughout his career, he has been recognized with the Residents' Grant awarded by the Spanish Society of Pediatric Surgery in 1991, highlighting his commitment to training and professional development. He is also an active member of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Surgery , reflecting his dedication to the medical community and his interest in the advancement of the specialty. Since 2024, he has led the Pediatric Robotic Surgery Unit at the Jiménez Díaz Foundation and the Hospital Univerisitario Rey Juan Carlos.
