Dr. M. Teresa Barrón Harrison is a neurophysiologist and has served as Head of the Neurophysiology Unit at Quirón Hospital Marbella since 2017. She graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Universidad de Cádiz (1998), specializing in Clinical Neurophysiology through her residency at the Hospital Regional Universitario de Málaga. She obtained her PhD in Medicine, summa cum laude, from the Universidad de Málaga, with a PhD in Neuroscience. She has worked at various institutions, including Quirón Hospital Málaga, Vithas Hospital Málaga, and the Centro Privado-Concertado Nuestra Sra. Del Pilar. She is an active member of the Sociedad Española y Andaluza de Neurofisiología Clínica, demonstrating a strong commitment to medical practice and training. She was awarded First Prize by the Spanish Society of Clinical Neurophysiology and Clinical Neurophysiology (SENFC) during her residency. She has also completed university courses such as Expert in Electroencephalography, Electromyography, Evoked Potentials, and Sleep Studies. and Master in Update in Neurophysiological diagnosis and treatment (2022-2024).
