Gonzalo Muzquiz Rueda

A specialist in Neurosurgery at the Complejo Hospitalario de Toledo, he completed his residency training at this center and had previous experience as a support physician in the Palliative Care Unit during the pandemic at La Fuenfría Hospital in Madrid. He graduated in Medicine from the Universidad de Alcalá, where he also completed a Master's degree in Clinical and Medical Professionalism, with a strong foundation in ethics and quality of care. He has undertaken advanced training in vascular neurosurgery , skull base surgery, spinal surgery, and hydrocephalus surgery, including residencies at leading centers in Boston and at Teishinkai Hospital in Sapporo, Japan. He actively participates in specialized courses, national and international conferences, and contributes to publications and book chapters, maintaining a focus on teamwork, communication, and comprehensive patient care.
