Íñigo Cristobal Pomposo Gastelu

Dr. Iñigo Cristobal Pomposo Gastelu is a distinguished neurosurgeon, currently serving as Head of Service at H.QS. BIZKAIA , where he has led the Neurosurgery Department since January 2023. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the Universidad del País Vasco, obtained in 1986, and an Official Doctoral Program in Neuroscience in 2001. Among his scientific contributions, his publication "Biomarkers for Traumatic Brain Injury: Data Standards and Statistical Considerations" in the Journal of Neurotrauma, published in April 2020, stands out. Throughout his career, he has participated in significant research projects, such as the study on pediatric medulloblastomas in collaboration with the Universidad del País Vasco.
