The digital media outlet Vanitatis has published its annual list of "The 50 best female doctors in Spain 2025", recognising women who are leading advances in healthcare, research and medical vocation.

Among the award winners are seven professionals from Ruber Internacional Hospital, recognised for their excellence, commitment and contribution to the advancement of medicine: Dr Inmaculada Gómez Arrayás, head of the Traumatology and Orthopaedic Surgery Team; Dr Elena Carrillo de Albornoz, medical director of the Assisted Reproduction Unit; Isabel Garabito, Head of Ophthalmology; Susana Monereo, Head of Endocrinology and Nutrition; Pilar Llamas, Head of Haematology and Haemotherapy; Aurora Rodríguez, Head of Radiation Oncology; and Silvia Sánchez Ramón, Director of Clinical Immunology.
